Description : Mission Create and implement Regional Strategic Plan for defined in-line and development products, providing direction and support in the execution of the strategic plan while driving the brand marketing plans and ensuring fulfilment of objectives in consistency with overall strategy and annual budget.
Main responsibilities Develop annual, and long range Latin America strategic marketing plan including strategic assessment and definition of key strategic programs in close collaboration with Country / Cluster GMs and their marketing teams.
Ensure that the key strategic marketing programs are developed in the region and executed by the countries. Budget ownership for such program development and close cooperation with local marketing teams for execution Ensure appropriate market research is coordinated across the region to understand competitor positioning and drivers for product growth.
Define cross market initiatives and secure execution for key products / TAs. As functional supervisor of marketing teams, enhance and develop the competencies of marketing teams across the region.
Identify opportunities for future development of brands through Life Cycle Management initiatives and also, in collaboration with Country / Cluster GMs, identify opportunities for introduction of new products.
Ensure launch excellence capabilities throughout the region. Participate in screening business development opportunities proposed by the markets and make a first evaluation regarding potential and feasibility before coordinating with global offices.
Play supporting role in the assessment of global in house and business development opportunities across the region covering unmet needs, feasibility and commercial opportunity.
Required Experience & Competences At least 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the region, with preferably 5 years plus in successful Business Unit management or Senior Brand management.
Experience in an International position will be preferred. University degree in Business and / or in life science. Good Experience in Business Development activities.
Good command in English and writing skill, native and / or advanced Spanish is a must, Portuguese is an asset. Strong business mindset with demonstrated ability of conceptual and strategic thinking, and ability to work in cross-
functional teams. Residence : position to be located preferentially in one of our major markets in the region : Argentina, Brazil or Mexico. Location : Ferring Argentina
