JOB OVERVIEW :
Communications Manager will be responsible for the definition of the external, internal and digital communications’ strategy for the company and the coordination of the engagement of the company with external stakeholders focused on the consolidation of Dow’s position and reputation, the protection of company’s right to operate and the support of businesses’ growth.
Based in Bahía Blanca, the scope of the responsibilities will be Argentina and the rest of the South Region, with special focus on the city.
The position will report to LAA South Region Corporate Affairs Leader and work closely with site’s leadership team as well as with other functions, businesses and workstreams (permanent contact with Geo Leader).

Custody of internal channels of communication. Ensure proper alignment with business and operational priorities and global internal communications strategy and execution.
Creation and implementation of comprehensive social media communications plans for the company and its businesses in the region.
Follows up events that could affect the region’s corporate risk matrix. Track of social, economic and political environment events with potential impact on business identified and reported.
Accurate and timely completion of forecasting and reporting tools. Defines clear and consistent action plans to tackle issues.
Supports crisis management. Identification of critical and key issues. Reputational prevention and management. Training of spokespersons.
