We are looking for a LATAM Improvement Leader to join our sourcing team for the Specilalty Product Division. The main responsibility of the position is to Support the development of sourcing & logistics strategies and plans in a project team environment to deliver measurable financial benefits by providing work stream leadership and applying six sigma methodology and sourcing or logistics improvement tools to develop and implement solutions.

Key activities may include :

  • Lead specific work streams or projects in support of specific spend saving, process optimization and business objectives.
  • Help drive fact base creation and problem solving approach to develop category strategy
  • Make recommendations to project manager / leader, based on analyses performed
  • Facilitate team interactions and ensures team focus; drives results with a sense of urgency
  • Responsible of achieving workstream deadline
  • Provide guidance and mentors analysts as needed to facilitate project completion
  • Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree - Business, Finance, Engineering or Science
  • Required work experience : at least 2 / 3 years working on Project leadership / management, commercial assignments (sales, buying) or supply chain assignments, project or roles with interaction with sourcing process is a must.
  • Black Belt certification and lean practitioner training strongly preferred but not required (can be done within assignment)
  • Excellent computer skills - especially Excel, PowerPoint and other MS package with the ability to analyze, manipulate, and parse data quickly and effectively
  • Ability to identify appropriate tools to increase depth of analyses or opportunity identification
  • Demonstrated project management skill
  • Ability to lead change and communicate effectively
  • Excellent problem solving and strategic analysis skills
  • Ability and willingness to be aggressive and highlight / flag areas of opportunity
  • Effective time management
