IT Marketing & eCommerce BP Job Description LAO IT is a dynamic, innovative team of multi-dimensional professionals who deeply understand how to generate business value through results-

driven IT service delivery for K-C’s business stakeholders.

As part of this team, the Marketing & eCommerce Business Partner will be a major influencer of business and product vision, deciding what should be built, and communicating the Marketing & eCommerce product strategy to LAO Leadership.

Success is measured by the ability to design and deliver configurable, scalable and extensible digital solutions that drive business and customer value.

The ITS BP is responsible for building a trusted advisor relationship with the regional businesses by partnering with the business capability leaders in marketing / eCommerce to develop and deliver technology solutions in support of commercial programs.

The ITS BP should become a strategic partner and bring in a technology point of view to strategy development.

She / he will partner on the IT SBP process for the region and ensure alignment with the Global SBP process as well as partner with the ITS delivery teams to enable the technology delivery to support the strategy.

Be the conduit between regional and global teams to ensure alignment and knowledge flow both ways.

The BP also actively markets and promotes IT services and ensures that the demand for these is managed and prioritized effectively.

The key to success is a broad knowledge of marketing / sales technologies and trends and ability to deliver compelling communication to business leadership how this enables future business capability.

Another key to success is to be able to leverage the ITS organization to drive successful delivery, considerate of local needs and global direction.

The incumbent works within a global matrix organization and needs to influence and coordinate both regional and global stakeholders.

This role requires significant collaboration with senior leaders, country managing directors and VP of the geography the BP is responsible for.

This role requires deep knowledge of industry, best practice, business and marketing in order to be a trusted business advisor for the Functional Leaders in the Region.

This role also provides strategic consulting for large, cross boundary and / or First-Of-A-Kind projects within the function.

The right person for this role is proactive with stakeholders, a self-starter who can work under broad direction, and passionate about delivering world-

class digital products that enable the business to optimize operations to maximize the value of K-C investments. Scope / Categories : Key Interfaces : Marketing & eCommerce Business Partner stakeholders and customers, Product Owners, global, regional and functional Business Partners, Capability Directors, and Delivery Engine Leadership.

External Interfaces : Consultants, Partners, 3rd Party Integration Providers. Key Accountabilities :

  • Lead digital product strategy and programs for Marketing & eCommerce envisioning and delivering capabilities that enrich and enable new digital experiences.
  • Act as an entrepreneur, performing market and competitive analysis to inform Marketing & eCommerce Product innovation.
  • Actively guide and inspire the Marketing & eCommerce team around the vision and feature priorities for the LAO.
  • Ensure that this vision is integrated into the overall Marketing & eCommerce Product vision.

  • Work with Global Marketing & Sales, & eCommerce Product Owners to break down complex problems into actionable steps to drive product strategy, innovation and development and understand the global strategic vision and releases comprised of minimal viable products and tactical user stories and applicability to LAO.
  • Partner with Marketing & eCommerce stakeholders to understand needs / requirements to be included in Global Marketing & eCommerce Product Owner roadmap.
  • Works closely with development teams and / or guide Product Owners to implement the product requirements.
  • For Marketing & eCommerce specific requirements that require a Marketing & eCommerce product team, this role will manage : + Build the case with LAO and IT Leaders to secure funds for Marketing & eCommerce product team for a specified time.
  • Product lifecycle including development of features, deployment of roadmaps, and measurement and management of adoption.
  • Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnerships, works with stakeholders for investment, product maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.
  • Create, manage, and prioritize Marketing & eCommerce Product backlog to streamline execution of Marketing & eCommerce objectives.
  • Manage vendors to ensure software roadmaps and delivery of features are completed based on agreed SLAs and pricing models.

  • Ensure that volume of work flowing to team optimizes team performance. + Maximize the value of the Marketing & eCommerce Product over its lifecycle by defining and owning capabilities ROI, including budget and / or P&L.
  • Provision technology, including vendor research, request for proposals, and partnering with Procurement on vendor selection and contracts.
  • Drive a strong focus on improving Marketing & eCommerce processes and deep expertise in data, algorithms, UX, APIs, platforms, RPA & Smart automation, BOTS, eco-systems.
  • Understanding of cyber risks, K-C security posture, processes and procedures to ensure compliance to K-C IT security and controls framework
  • Perform customer follow-up and maintain healthy customer satisfaction scores.
  • Utilize digital metrics that focus on outcomes of initiatives rather than checking the box on projects delivered.
  • Establish trusted relationships with key Marketing & eCommerce stakeholders and being a connected, influential player with Marketing & eCommerce Global Leadership.
  • Engage and motivate employees and resources with effective communication to promote a high performing, agile and focused team environment.
  • Support metric definition, risk identification, and remediation.

  • Ensure insight and understanding of best practices and keeping pace with competition and peer companies. Key Qualifications and Experiences :
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in IT or a business discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years related experience in Sales, Marketing and / or eCommerce is required.
  • Ability to inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for Marketing & eCommerce
  • Ability to maintain ROI / budget / P&L.
  • Experience with cost / benefit analysis is preferred.
  • Certified Product Owner (preferred).
  • 5 years’ experience implementing Agile methodologies as a team member (e.g.
  • developer, tester, etc.)

  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (e.g.
  • using SAFE).

  • Domain knowledge around Marketing & eCommerce
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, listening, negotiating, problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
  • Experience as a change agent at multiple levels of an organization.
  • Experience with Marketing & eCommerce Product development, including visioning, road mapping, feature prioritization and go to market strategy.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels.
