In this role you will lead the daily Transport regional activities after shipment started until incoterm point of delivery (mainly road including some coordination with the 4PL for air & sea).
Also you will ensure timely and accurate processing of all activities for road transport, in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.
Main responsibilities : Service delivery
Contribute, as required to the development of service level agreements
Monitor performance of assigned work team(s) against performance / quality standards defined
Actively works to continuously improve processes
Day to day management of assigned team(s)
Set clearly defined performance objectives for assigned team(s), ensuring appropriate alignment with performance / quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements
Monitor performance, against agreed objectives, of assigned team leads and teams taking corrective action to improve individual performance as necessary
Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required
Participate in recruitment of team members as required
Ensure team members within assigned work area(s) maintain appropriate levels of technical competence (training and development)
Contribute, as required, to the maintenance and updating of processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with internal operating and control procedures
Review and approve reports
Manage difficult queries from markets and sites
Manage relationship and communication with markets, sites and external stakeholders
Supervise day to day operations in the regional Transport area (mainly road)
Manage critical transport deviations
Manage critical site specific Logistics Complaints and returns
Escalation to the regional supply chain organization
Review / participate in LSP performance reviews (regionally)
Participate to the Logistic Service Provider selection and support implementation
Monitor and give guidance for optimization on transportation Mode
Supervise monitoring activities of E2E Transportation Data Inbound / Outbound (All Mode of transport)
Support 4PL / LLP (road) on critical deviations where alignment required
Manage, guide transportation projects

Your professional profile includes :
University or College degree
Fluent in English is a must
3+ years experience in Logistics Management
Advanced MS Office Knowledge
Willingness to travel (2-6 weeks periods) during knowledge transfer
