Position Purpose & Summary The Cargill Business Services (CBS) Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management.
The successful candidate will be comfortable leading diverse multifunctional teams in multiple countries. Strong influencing skills will be required for effective leadership across functions in a matrix management structure.
The person in this position must become familiar with the CBS migration playbooks for various functions, Cargill PPM, Cargill PDP, Cargill RPA playbook and be able to conduct projects in accordance with this process.
Will need to understand the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate team activities. Projects could involve work in finance, human resources, sourcing & procurement, or transporation & logistics.
The position will be located in Rosario, Provincia de Santa Fé, Argentina Principal Accountabilities 30% Manage 2-4 projects in Latin America.
Responsible for working with the BU / Function and CBS to :
Define the scope of the migration project to be conducted.
Assemble and lead project team.
Assign individual responsibilities.
Identify appropriate resources.
Utilize the appropriate Playbook / Methodology to develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
15% Develop and manage the critical path plan for project(s).
Utilize Critical Path Planning to create the integrated project plan and optimize project progress
Measure project performance using defined tools and techniques, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders.
25% Provide multifunctional leadership for projects, including activities of the project team.
Lead development of overall project plan to ensure all stakeholders and team members are in agreement.
Ongoing communication of project deliverables and progress with CBS, Functional, and BU leadership
15% Ensure projects are conducted in accordance with the appropriate methodology
Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations accordance with the Project Plan, align stakeholders and team members
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project
10% Provide detailed reporting of project status, risks, and issues to the CBS PMO
Document key risk areas and develop plans to mitigate
Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events to minimize the impact of the risks on the project
5% Document potential improvements to the CBS PPM, Migration Playbook, PDP or RPA playbook or processes.
Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management
Experience leading multi-functional teams
Demonstrated success working independently in a remote, global environment
Fundamental training in Project Management
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and establish process and structure
Fluent in English, Spanish
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, or PhD)
Experience leading successful shared service Migration / RPA / Automation projects
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building effective teams of domain experts and professionals.
Experience in influencing and managing cross-functional teams with indirect reporting lines.
Strong financial knowledge and practical business acumen.
Track record of positively and effectively leading people through change
