About the role
As the Market Analytics & Insights Manager for HSC you will be accountable for the on-going analysis of marketplace performance from all viable internal and external syndicated and secondary sources including Nielsen, IWSR, Data monitor, Euromonitor, depletion data, shipment data, control state data etc.
You will perform extensive analysis across brands and categories to understand changing dynamics and competitors and into geographies to identify key Category, Brand, and Bacardi Business drivers.
You will lead the relationship with Global Research firms (e.g., Nielsen) and ensure efficient and effective spend of resources
You will be accountable for driving Marketing team effectiveness by developing key performance metrics, and dashboards, including generating periodic Marketing performance reports;
regularly to the Global Leadership Team and Board on Market Share performance and brand health.
You will pro-actively develop responses to new business opportunities and support the Marketing team to surpass Brand growth & performance targets.
Coach brand teams on how to analyze internal and external syndicated and secondary data so that marketing can become self sufficient in gaining a deeper understanding of their business situation and performance on an ongoing basis.
You will support a marketplace assessment of the competitive landscape via secondary data sources , including strengths, weaknesses and areas of opportunity for the industry and assist Marketing with analysis and interpretation of performance data
The position will straddle both the technical insights and Marketing areas and the candidate must be comfortable perating in both domains.
You will manage confidential and privileged information regarding business intentions (i.e. merger and / or acquisitions) and competitors’ performance, with a focus on developing the Bacardi answer to potential portfolio gaps / opportunities.

Consumer, shopper and customer understanding
Delivers high-quality and impactful volume and value trends analysis
Drives deeper understanding of the marketplace and competitive dynamics by connecting the links between research studies, economic analyses, and syndicated data to arrive at unique perspectives on the industry
Business performance management
Supports HSC Managing Director to coordinate with Global research providers on behalf of all categories / geographies to enhance Bacardi’s negotiating position and spend effectiveness
Partners with marketing teams to provide ongoing performance metrics against KPIs for monthly review across each geographies for each category.
Create a winning team
Supports the functioning of the matrix organization within the Global and Hub Marketing teams, working with appropriate resources as needed
Works with Global Insight teams to build a shared sense of purpose among all employees, and support coordination from Global to Hub to Country.
Developing talent & capability
Synthesizes results to Marketing users in a concise and clear manner to demonstrate value, influence decision-making
Maps the market needs with target markets and recommend segments to actively pursue based on market sizing and competitive data
Measures of success
Achive NSV, DBC and EFO of HSC Cluster.
Achieve Brand health related performance targets(e.g., consumer engagement measures, brand growth and penetration)
Deliver against target metrics on management of contract terms with data and information providers
Measurement and evaluation plan in place on >
80% NSV in HSC
Drive sustained improvement in engagement & enablement, as measured in Employee Engagement Survey (EES).
Deliver against talent management activities as measured (via the Talent Scorecard)
Critical experiences for success
To be successful in this role you will have / be :
Experience analyzing syndicated data; Nielsen is a must-have
Experience using Nielsen ad hoc analytics such as market structure studies.
Extensive knowledge on how Nielsen databases work as well as the definitions of each key Nielsen metric
Experience managing technical research vendors
Degree and / or professional Marketing qualifications
Fluent command in English
The following experiences are preferred :
Drinks and Luxury Category experience is an advantage
Experience in additional functions beyond the ones listed above
Leading-edge knowledge in Nielsen tools and metrics.
Have advanced experience with business intelligence, dashboard, and analytics tools.
Excellent presentation skills, ability to translate massive data into friendly information
Ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity
