The National Account Manager is responsible to develop a strategic partnership with Walmart that delivers on Henkel Beauty Care net sales, profitability, and trade management targets.

Establish Henkel as a preferred partner in driving Beauty Care POS, market shares and profits. Launch and leverage all innovation (new items or brands) with effective project management within WalMart systems and processes.

Ensure a solid understanding and execution of all brands commercialization. Successfully integrate and work with Shopper Marketing teams to drive sales.

Leverage category mgmt. resources in developing WalMart specific products and promotions.

  • Manage strategic partnership and plan with WalMart Category Managers that addresses the assortment, pricing, promotional, and planogram elements of all Henkel Beauty Care businesses.
  • Manage launch strategy and execution plan of all innovation (items and new brands) Beauty Care.
  • Manage internal (business unit) and external customer communications.
  • Provide direction to cross functional resources to find insights to drive strategic plan and to execute that plan with excellence.
  • Deliver semi-monthly forecasting of revenue, net sales, and retail sales.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on inputs and metrics to ensure optimization of sales
  • Lead partnership & negotiations with all Wal-Mart agreements for optimal promotion planning and investments.
  • Closely cooperate with local marketing and shopper marketing on how to exploit POS and market shares with Wal-Mart
  • Carry out Actual vs. Plan analysis of financial KPIs
  • Bachelors’ or MBA
  • Minimum of three (3) years Sales experience.
  • Relevant experience across Beauty categories is an advantage.
  • Excellent negotiator with exceptional analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence, direct strategies and build relationships
