Argentina is the second largest economy in South America and is a major world economy as part of the G-20 international forum.
With important economic relationships with China and Brazil, Argentina is the perfect place to learn more about the region and get a unique perspective of working in a developing country.
Buenos Aires is the capital and the largest city with 14 million people living and working. It is a business hub of Latin America and is considered the cultural capital of the Southern Cone, commonly referred to as the Paris of South America.
Given the professional opportunities present as well as the quality of life and thriving culture, it is the ideal city to complete an international work experience.
Buenos Aires is a city that never sleeps filled with museums, theatres, cafés, cultural centres, clubs and restaurants. Many who come to the city fall in love and decide to extend their stay!
Interns will have a Spanish jumpstart to their programme with two weeks of intensive language lessons. Classes are available for all levels so both beginners and more advanced speakers can participate.
This will give each intern the chance to meet other young foreigners, learn more about the city and, of course, improve their Spanish skills.
The classes will be the final preparation before the start of the work experience.
Buenos Aires is known for many things the birthplace of tango, incredible steak and wine, a never-ending nightlife and a variety of cultural activities and events throughout the year.
Interns will also have the chance to participate in our activities programme during the Spanish portion of their programme and during their work.
We offer 3 to 4 free activities each week from tango classes and wine tastings to neighbourhood tours and cultural classes.
Activities are a great way to practice Spanish outside the classroom and to be social with other international students.
