Job Duties (include but not limited to) : Delivers billable consulting services. Efforts may be directed toward various MicroStrategy and / or supporting products and servicesEnsures a solid understanding of business objectives associated with projects and / or programs to which he or she is assignedConnects project outcomes with customers' overall vision and MicroStrategy account strategyDevelops technical competence of MicroStrategy products with a focus on implementationDevelops an understanding of the project life cycle and begins to develop associated customer skillsSeeks opportunities through project work to develop rapport and working relationship with external customers, with supervisionCommunicates effectively with team members both internally and with customersMay participate in business development activities with guidanceFollows methodology for well-
defined workLeverages MicroStrategy best practices for service deliveryObserves and understands the dynamics of influence, internally and externally with customersWorks within an internal sphere of influence typically bounded by project or regional activitiesSupports the team taking ideas from concept through full deploymentDevelops an awareness of the competitive landscape including key differentiators and competitive positioningActively participates in internal knowledge-sharing forums
Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related fieldUp to 2 years of related experienceCommitment to personal and professional growthDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirementsProgramming or systems development experience preferredEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively independently as well as in a team environmentStaffing to local projects wherever possible, however field consultants can expect periods and assignments of up to 75 - 80% travel
