A Dior Area Manager is responsible for brand's business development in a defined territory. The job scope notably comprises the recommendation, validation and implementation of right strategies, focused on the generation of retail sales and financial gains, as well as on the enhancement of brand imagine within the countries of responsibility (Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile).

Based in the Argentina subsidiary, reporting directly to the Export Director in the Latin America Regional Office in Miami.


  • Conduct research to identify market opportunities and customer's needs, in order to plan, design, develop and implement different sales & retail activities.
  • Ensure the right product catalog in place, aligned to brand's strategy and markets' needs through fine analysis of customer trends.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities are carry out within agreed budgets, coherent volumes and required pay-back within the given time-frame.
  • Take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issue that slows down or hamper the procedures and brand activities.
  • Constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management.
  • Act as the liaison between distributors, retailers and internal teams (Merchandising, Mkt, Finance, Training & SJDB), providing trustworthy feedback.
  • Work in close cooperation with local brand managers, building long-term relationships with them to effectively assist in the overall growth and development of Dior business and organization.
  • Along with Distributor's teams, actively participate in meetings with retailers in order to negotiate all strategic matters, remarkably in-
  • store visibility, locations and activity plans.



  • Full P&L Responsibility per client and per area of responsibility;
  • Control & proposal of investments aligned with brand strategy;
  • Budgets per account & monthly follow-up;
  • Follow-up of WHS, Sell-out & inventories for analysis and proper re-order of basics by line and by client;
  • Novelties forecast / follow up by client & by reference according to historical sales and product potential;
  • Follow-up payments and DSO;
  • Business Plan analysis and update;
  • A&P budget follow-up and monitoring;
  • Productivity analysis per door.

  • Negotiation of brand location & personalization;
  • Trade plans review per country & per client that will help the brand to race ahead vs the competition;
  • Negotiations of strong animation plans with retailers via agents (HPPs, SPPs) & post mortem analysis;
  • Define training plan & training strategy per country. Addict to retail program follow-up;
  • Builds market map in order ensure right distribution channels and size : identify POS priorities, establish average sales per door targets and to monthly sell-
  • out evolution follow-up;
  • Visual merchandising follow-up ensuring the respect of the brand guidelines as well as the correct execution of each campaign & elements implementation.
  • DSO follow-up;
  • Expenses & investment control, reporting on time & in full.
  • Profile

    It is essential to have passion and flexibility to travel internationally during significant part of the year. Strong interpersonal communication skills to develop fruitful and professional relationships with external and internal clients and with retailers.

    Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills are a pre-requisite. Should be ambitious and energetic, able to work in a target oriented work environment and should be able to prioritize work based on the given deadlines.

    Excellent time management and organization skills are also required.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • Approximately 50% travel required
