The CM Argentina will report to the VP / GM, Latin America of Videojet. He / She will inspire and manage a staff of 60 professionals.

The CM Argentina will be responsible for developing and executing channels (direct and distributor) and customer strategies to aggressively grow sales, customer base and market share through allotted resources.

In this role, he / she will lead their team to achieve sales and margin objectives within the scope of the business strategy.

Additionally, the CM Argentina will provide timely, accurate sales and financial forecasting.

The CM Argentina will establish and maintain robust industry familiarity and relationships in order to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities.

He / She will move quickly to build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities.In addition, the CM Argentina will make a personal investment in fostering internal relationships in order to secure the continual support of the Company’s resources and to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication and results.

Critical is the CM Argentina’s ability to continue to build a world-class team focused on sales excellence.This includes identifying opportunities to raise the bar for individuals and for the team by instilling his / her value-

selling vision and agenda as an integral part of the company’s goals for success.Additionally, this person will be responsible for providing vision and expertise to the Company’s sales organization wherever and whenever it is lacking.

He / She will be equipped and prepared provide deeper insight, best practices, core competencies, and skills to complement his / her direct reports.

The team of the CM Argentina will include the Sales Director AP, Sales Manager IB, Services Manager, Marketing Supervisor, Finance Manager, Operations Manager and HR Manager (these last 3 positions as a dotted line report).

In addition, the CM Argentina will be a highly visible position and as such, the successful candidate should have the requisite skills, interest and career trajectory to take on larger general management roles within Danaher.

In order to successfully respond to the challenges of the role, the candidate will need to :

  • Develop and refine business strategy for Argentina together with the senior leadership team; ensure alignment with corporate goals and execution against strategy;
  • Provide leadership and partner with peer groups to grow Videojet’s brand profitably;
  • Increase sales growth and market penetration while improving operating margins;
  • Identify and develop new ways to grow through share gain;
  • Develop and elevate his / her organization and migrate toward value / solutions relations and competencies;
  • Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop proactive strategies to maintain the Company’s competitiveness;
  • Increase the level of partnership with marketing through well-crafted marketing plans;
  • Work with Human Resources to develop middle / high management to build a strong pipeline of talentswhile working as a mentor to the team members;
  • Sustain the Danaher culture through recruiting the right talents and retaining the high potentials in the company; improve workforce morale by establishing clear and achievable objectives (both quarterly and annualy) for team;
  • Implement and maintain an effective sales management process to provide current and accurate revenue projections, pipeline forecasts, and lead and prospect reports to support business growth; and
  • Identify and drive breakthrough performance

    Additional Responsibilities

    In addition to fulfilling the critical commitments detailed above in order to achieve success in his / her role, the CM Argentina will also :

  • Drive sales programs more fully into industrial channels of distribution, achieving breakthrough objectives for sales and marketing;
  • Target, visit and close key accounts to develop new business opportunities;
  • Review and analyze monthly sales and marketing policy deployment objectives, and establish countermeasures to remain on plan;
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external sales and marketing projects;
  • Participate in industry trade functions to keep abreast of changes and opportunities;
  • Manage P&L and take action to remain within stated profit objectives;
  • Establish sales and marketing strategies for annual strategic plan process;
  • Forecast channels effectively; and
  • Develop organization talent that is appropriate and able to be promoted into other areas of the company.

  • Education

    The successful candidate’s educational background will include an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a technical vocation.
