TheProduction Managerwill be based inBuenos Aires,Argentina, workingon-site at one of our enterprise clientsand will oversee the sourcing and productionof a variety of retail POP / POS& printmaterials.
The ideal candidate will have experience executing a high volume of complex projects while interacting and communicating with the client, vendors, suppliers, and internal resources on a day-to-day basis.
Developing, sourcing, presenting and managing production for a wide range of POS displays & signage, including wood, wire, vacuum form, and injection molded pieces.
Working with the client’s marketing teams to gather job requirements, perform both procurement and project management of each assigned campaign or project.
Manage the client’s jobs on-budget, on-time, and with the highest level of service and quality.
Quoting and / or estimating of all assigned print projects including printing, fulfillment, and logistics.
Developing program strategies which are both beneficial and economical for the client.
Building relationships with client’s internal stakeholders and other InnerWorkings employees in order to successfully execute each project.
Responsible for the generation of information and technical detail about the characteristics of the material required, adding value to the management and the product to be produced, always seeking excellence and cost savings to the client.
Lead the development of models and prototypes of each product to always offer the customer the best production alternative according to the desired finishes and costs
Generation of graphic / industrial design in the relevant design programs (rhinoceros, Vray, illustrator CC) on own production materials with focus on Gondola coatings and everything related to it
Activate the generation of POs to all suppliers using the due process pre-established by the company in relation to the implemented systems
Responsible for the generation of codes and authorizations for logistics operators / deposits / points of sale of customers to guarantee deliveries on time and under the agreed quality standards
Give notice to suppliers about the activation of their billing and support in case of queries
Analyze job revenue, cost, and profitability to report to management and client.
Proactively present production solutions and offer suggestions for more efficient production methods.
Keeping detailed records of each project’s timeline, progress, challenges, and completion and be able to provide regular status updates to management.
Managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Exceed client expectations and provide superior customer service.
3+ years working with print management, large format digital, conventional offset and point of purchase / salesdisplays / retail signage.
Wide knowledge in production processes with materials such as wood, metal or plastic, including, among others, sheet metal, pipe, wire, variety of woods and processes on plastic (thermoforming, thermo-bending, etc.)
Detailed track record of successful supplier management, negotiation, and procurement of complex print projects.
Experience within a marketing / creative environment a plus.
Advanced knowledge of print manufacturing types and channels.
Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.
Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.
Fluent English will be considered an advantage.
