The role of the Senior Associate - Procurement Services, GDS will be toindividually manage the procurement of products & services.
This role willsupport the Latam Products & Services procurement team in thecategories of Talent, Brand Marketing & Communications (BMC), EnterpriseSupport Services (ESS) and Professional Services at an agreed set of ServiceLevel Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
The role will work closelywith the Procurement Operations leader and the Regional Category leaders andalso participate in negotiations giving desired levels of cost savings andoperational excellence.
Essential functions of the job
ØThis role involves the resources to individually manage sourcing projectswith spend up to $250K
ØManagecontract renewals and BRET process
ØLiaise with suppliers, internalclients and key internal functionalteams in support of sourcing projects
ØFollow procurement strategies being implemented by procurement leaders
ØEnsure value targets are met and ensure quality of service is notcompromised
ØEnsure follow-ups are made to have approvals on time
ØMaintain highest levels of integrity and honest procurement process
ØContinually challenge existing ways of working. Identify and develop newopportunities for standardization and consistency in service delivery
ØEngage and create meaningful and productive business relationships withclients and stakeholders
ØWork with multiple Suppliers to determine the best deals for EY, andhave to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speedof delivery and other factors.
Strong Working knowledge of Excel and ability toanalyze data.
ØAdvanced Level of English
Ø Advanced Level of Portuguese
ØShow at least 3 years of experience in procurement for the followingcategories :
oTalent including benefits,learning & development, mobility
ØCulturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a global mindset
ØDemonstrable facilitation and presentation skills
ØDecision-Making Skills : Need to use the information gathered bythemselves and others to make decisions on behalf of EY.
ØStrong skills required for negotiations with suppliers as well asinfluencing internal stakeholders. Demonstrate proven influencing andnegotiating skills to deliver value return.
ØOccasional travel to other GDS Location and / or to US and othercities as may be required from time to time.
ØProven working experience of a Shared Services Centre operations and / or BPO operations isdesirable.
ØBachelor’sdegree or above from an Engineering, commercial, business or procurementrelated discipline is desirable.
