Sales Engineer in charge of the Food Market and any solution gave by APC Food and his sub APC

  • The position of sales engineer for APC Food is being create to develop the food market in Argentina. Considering the current conditions, the role should be investigate which market in Argentina is feasible to develop our technology and prepare a business plan as base to develop the market and determinate :

  • Market size
  • Customers and main actors to contact,
  • Main technology / equipment to show.
  • Competitors with his strength and weakness
  • Commercial strategies for each case if is need
  • Besides must to be in direct contact with our colleagues in GEA either in Argentina or outside for :

  • To create business opportunities
  • To keep the fidelity of our clients
  • The key management priorities for the role :

  • Generate RFQs and Sales
  • Establish and manage customer contacts to drive Solutions sales in country
  • Identify and support specification of customer needs and demands
  • The tasks and responsibilities for the role include :

  • Establish local contacts with Solutions customers
  • Manage customer relationships and indirect sales (incl. commercial training of dealers)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Presence at local trade fairs
  • Responsible for pre-sales, offer mgmt., negotiation and deal closing

    Chemical Engineer or similar with between 2 to 4 years of experience in engineering companies with focus in food industries.

    The candidate must to have full knowledge in process engineering and experience in unit operations like concentrations or drying and / or strong knowledge in food process.

    Besides is needed a Fluent English, availability to travel and drive license.
