The Digital Marketing Manager will lead and direct strategic growth initiatives within Payless Digital Marketing team to grow online and offline sales channels.
This includes developing tactical executions to support Payless’ overall strategic plans. This position will identify, research and analyze potential digital opportunities for growth and develop digital strategies to address customer acquisition and capture increased customer share of wallet.
The Digital Marketing Manager will also build test and learn plans and make recommendations relative to implementation.
Job Responsibilities :
Ownership of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) channels, including, paid search & shopping, display, retargeting, online video, affiliate / affinity as well as local listing and reputation management and rating-review processes
Annual to daily management of the online marketing programs, including planning, budget, strategy and reporting
Own all paid digital channel vendor, internal and external partnerships
Consult ecommerce key partners on SEO initiatives to enhance website presence and ensure paid media alignment
Ensure all online marketing channels are aligned with marketing calendars and business needs
Creative brief ownership to align all digital creative needs for seamless integration with business promo calendar
Support ad hoc initiatives and marketing events
Digital strategy guidance with focus on optimal integrated media mix with consideration to both online and offline business needs
Determine success measurements and goals to track, measure and report on a regular basis
Communicate online marketing strategies and tactics to internal partners and senior leadership
Collaborate with ecommerce, merchandising, IT, store operations, creative and legal to execute new and existing initiatives
Evaluate emerging technologies for marketing opportunities
May require minimal overnight travel, typically less than 5%
Strong ability to be agile and innovative in a fast-paced, test and learn environment
Great multi-tasker and self-starter
Expertise in integrated digital marketing channels, including SEM, display retargeting, video and affiliate
Experience in leading digital marketing programs
Understanding of financial analysis and the levers that impact financial results
Practical experience managing customer driven change programs from concept through to implementation

Global and / or multi-lingual digital experience a plus
5+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related field.
