Overview The Associate Director, LA Region Customer Insights is responsible for the strategic alignment and execution of ad-

hoc market research activities in the Latin American region to ensure that commercial leadership is provided with actionable insights that are timely, accurate and cost effective.

This will be achieved through the close collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels to drive the use of innovative, agile, real time insights as well as traditional market research approaches and analytics to understand our customers and patients.

The Associate Director will maintain a vigilant watch over the health of key brands and markets in the LA region, alerting brand management and senior executives of emerging opportunities and threats, as discerned through insightful integration of the array of market research, marketplace data, and competitive intelligence available to the region.

The Customer Insights Lead will be the focal point of contact and subject matter expert to Marketing and Market Research colleagues within the region acting as an advocate of new and innovative research activities that aligned to support effective realization of the priorities and goals of the new GHH strategy in the LA region. Primary activities

  • Proactively analyze strategic business issues, solves complex problems utilizing multiple sources of data and business insight, and applies sound judgment in recommending a course of action for business decisions in line with a deep understanding of the needs and strategy of the regional business.
  • Build and exploit formal and informal networking, including the digital communication tools and apps available within the company to deliver pro-
  • active actionable business insights to brand management and senior executives throughout the organization.

  • Lead the development of the regional insights plan, coordinating with other capabilities organizations, key markets, and business teams in the creation of an integrated plan.
  • This individual will evaluate and identifiy the best resources to address business questions in the most timely, cost efficient and effective manner and ensure appropriate research design and implications are delivered to inform brand and launch strategies.

  • Negotiate market research budget for assigned key brands in the LA Region, and ensure projects meet franchise business needs and are conducted within compliance, aligned to the GHH strategy.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with Global, Region and Countries stakeholders including Legal, Compliance and Privacy, Pharmacovigilance and other associated stakeholders to ensure efficient integration and collaboration across key functions contributing to Operations and Compliance.
  • Support region and countries in driving a patient centered customer experience through the exploitation of innovative market research models, methodologies tools and capabilities being developed in Global HQ to drive agile, real time insights to decision makers.
  • Test, learn and embed test agile, innovative real time market research approaches to benefit the region and the countries.
  • Ensure country market research teams are leveraging the full power of the company’s market research resources available at all levels of the organisation to enhance our products, services and experiences we offer our customers and patients.
