Join us as a member of Roche’s SDET team, where you will be responsible for developing the processes and test infrastructure for Roche RSS products.
You will implement and test cutting-edge, distributed, scale-out next-generation sequencing data analysis software, which is a pillar for the growing infrastructure needed to understand the human genome with speed, scale, and accuracy. Code to cure!
How you will spend your time :
Participating in all aspect of quality testing and releases of Roche Sequencing Solutions products. (Distributed systems, backend testing)
Writing test cases, test plans, doing reviews.
Writing automation scripts for integration tests.
Providing guidance and working with the development team to improve unit test coverage, frameworks, and productivity tools.
Participating in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews.
Experience and skills you will need :
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science or equivalent field, or compatible experience.
8 10+ years of active hands-on Software Development & Quality Engineering role and well acquainted with Behavioral & Test Driven Development principles
Familiarity with at least one strong typed language : Java, C++, C#
Comfortable with : AWS, Virtual Environments (Docker, Vagrant, OpenStack), Jenkins, Ansible, Git.
Experience with various QA and support related tools such as Rest Assured, Cucumber, JMeter, JUnit.
