Key responsibilities

Provide phone (when necessary), e-mail & e-commerce support and attendance.

Provide our customers with a sense of ease of doing business with Maersk Line through hands-on execution and implementation action and implementation of various in-

house systems, applications and projects.

Complete either export or import process, complying with global process design.

Focus on customers’ problem resolution scenarios and on setting expectations.

Deliver execution of processes and transactional tasks and being accountable for end results.

Provide end-to-end management of our customers’ shipments - take ownership.

Communicate proactively with country partners and customers, and any other relevant stakeholders involved in Maersk Line’s businesses.

Build and manage close relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Evaluate and assess constantly work processes within own work area and execute process improvement initiatives.

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Customs Administration or any related field (completed)
  • 2 years of experience working in the shipping and logistics industry in positions related with customer direct contact and support
  • Advance English level (Above 80% of fluency)
  • Advanced Portuguese level is desirable
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint intermediate proficiency
  • Personable, energetic and with excellent attitude to deal with customers.
  • Team oriented person that enjoys working in multicultural environments
  • Ability to be an effective communicator in a wide range of stakeholders, internal, external, upwards and downwards
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as demonstrate excellent reasoning skills is essential.
  • Attention to details, thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved
