About the Business Analyst Position
Are you fascinated at the prospect of establishing processes and supporting technology innovation? Are you intrigued about gathering preferences from decision makers and identifying solutions that work, analyzing risk and collaborating with teams?
Do you have a passion for strategic planning, design thinking, agile development or change management? Through agile business partners and teams, you'll help us collaboratively design processes that help people work together and support our clients' missions.
As a management consultant, you'll be collaborative, pragmatic, and results-driven, working with a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Epidemiologists, Biostatisticians, program and Project Managers.
You will provide frameworks and structures to help move our clients forward using a consultative approach. By knowing and practicing a wide variety of tools and frameworks, you'll be able to lead clients into a more organized, efficient, and effective future.
Who you are
You enjoy problem-solving difficult problems. You are a natural leader with an innate skill of research and analyzing systems to come up with the best process solutions for the client.
You bridge the gap between IT and business using data analytics to assess processes. You are pragmatic, professional, work in close collaboration with your team and engage with business leaders and users to help them understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.
You are adept at articulating solutions and understanding the balance between what's technologically feasible, as well as financially and functionally reasonable.
You enjoy working with data sets to make improvements in processes. You are experienced in discussions and workshops with leadership, analysts, and mission SMEs to identify and innovate the elements that work best in their environment and areas for improvement.
You are adept at creating models that support business decisions by working closely with your teams to establish initiatives and strategies to improve importing and optimizing costs.
You have high proficiency and skill in the following areas :
You Have :
4+ years of experience either in management consulting or business analytics.
3+ years of experience utilizing data for business decisions, and providing actionable recommendations through data storytelling, and comprehending and analyzing complex problems.
Experience working in a consultative environment.
Completed BA or BS degree.
Ability to obtain a Government Clearance.

What we offer :
Location and Telework :
Our clients are located within the D.C. area and thus we have a strong preference for D.C. based staff. Your time will be split between our office, client site, and work-from-home.
Our firm's culture values both the collaboration that comes while working with a team in an office and the flexibility / work-life balance working from home provides.
We anticipate being in the office two days a week and working from home the other 3 days.
