We are looking for a Corporate IT Support Speacialist!

The Corporate IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing quality and professional desktop support to Sovos employees.

This may include performing system generation of new PCs or laptops, hardware upgrades and data conversions, hardware troubleshooting assistance, peripheral troubleshooting, and other support issues that are related to the end user systems for employees.

More specifically, you will :

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Respond to and resolves issues reported by Sovos employees by identifying problems, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
  • Utilize ticket tracking system to document results of problem resolution sessions.
  • Perform basic user administration on servers.
  • Maintain responsibility for system preparation, including software installations and user configurations, for new and rebuilt systems for employees.
  • Perform software installs, minor hardware repairs / maintenance, and assists with moving employees' desktop equipment.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth.
  • Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action.
  • Develop trust and models open, candid, respectful communication, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Proactively manage high severity and priority incidents from identification to resolution and escalation to appropriate group.
  • Participate in emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
  • What We Need From You

  • Fluent English skills required (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with Windows, Office365, desktop support, VPNs.
  • Supervise and coordinate generator maintenance technicians’ visits.
  • Excellent customer service skills, quality focus, PC proficiency, operating systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, while effectively focusing on priority issues.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning.
  • Basic knowledge on telephone landlines.
  • Acts with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills, both verbal and written at all levels.
  • Essential Job Functions

    o Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.

    o Concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems.

    o Assets management and stock availability.

    o Utilize technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware and software. applications, surveillance camera systems) to fulfill work requirements.

    o Desirable knowledge on virtualization (Hyper-v or vSphere).
