We are looking for an enthusiastic developer to join our Integrations Team. You will be part of a team that is used to building up integration projects from scratch.
Our approach to software integration opens the possibility to innovate and use a wide variety of tools. This is a key role in our development process, since it allows Avature to interact with other platforms such as social media networks, job boards and CRMs.
Your challenges and objectives :
Understand the client use case and the goal of each integration.
Interact with client-facing teams, and with clients or partners as needed.
Be able to identify components and libraries that can be reused for other integrations and resolve recurring integration issues.
Be able to comply with changing timelines.
Your day-to-day activities
Work on new integration projects.
Liaise with team analysts, who provide a spec with detailed requirements.
Attend kick-off meetings with the analysts and QA to discuss the project.
Troubleshoot on existing integrations, mostly when they are configured for a new client.
Perform code reviews on your colleagues’ projects.
About you :
Programming skills : Java is great, but other object-oriented languages are also welcome.
PHP programming is a plus.
Good communication skills to interact with other Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Integration Analysts, partners and clients.
Adaptable, flexible and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge on the following is a great plus :
Apache Camel Framework
Docker, Jenkins, Git, Maven
Enterprise Integration Patterns is a plus.
