  • P&A Forecasting & Planning tower is jointly accountable for the forward-looking view into the health of Accenture’s business driving the submission of internal quarterly forecasts and annual plans, and continuously monitoring business portfolio performance indicators to advise leadership and manage landing position expectations.

    The advisory component of the job is key in order to originate value for Accenture.

    At the core, the scope of the tower requires active participation in the planning and forecasting process with key areas of responsibility including :

  • Annual financial plan and quarterly forecast submissions that are reasonable, accurate, and aligned with Accenture ambitions, business aspirations and strategic goals
  • Upside & risk assessment to forward looking projections
  • Scenario planning and use of predictive analysis and stress tests
  • Stakeholder management including early warnings to leadership when a forecast goes off track; recommendation of corrective actions
  • The Forecasting & Planning Manager will belong to the global team, that connects Forecasting & Planning across the 3 Markets and all the Market Units, closely collaborating with the Market teams, the professionals of the other P&A towers and the local and global Finance community.

    The role requires working alongside and reporting directly to the global Planning & Forecasting lead.

    Key Responsibilities include the following :

  • Partner with the F&P global lead for evolving the capability on global scale so as it meets leadership requirements and drives business outcomes.
  • Advance efforts to develop best practices and operationalize within Markets / Market Units / Client Groups, optimize and standardize processes, tools and reporting needs, continuously innovating solutions and leveraging expertise across all P&A towers, FBM and Corporate teams.

  • Lead the design, build, run and adoption of dashboards providing actionable insights related to Forecasting and Planning.
  • Provide a centralized support network encouraging collaboration. Train and coach the F&P team or F&P stakeholders as required, in particular for driving transformative behaviors and enabling change management.
  • Leverage and build relationships within and outside of FBM. Activate new and valuable collaboration channels for F&P. Maintain strong communication and dialogue with all F&P partners and stakeholders.
  • Drive Forecast ambition and accuracy.
  • Increase awareness of Corporate expectations / guidelines and drive central led actions for executing these expectations / guidelines across Markets, Market Units, Client Groups and overall FBM.
  • Have a clear perspective on global forward-looking projections based on data, analytics and insights. Support Markets and Market Units for the preparation of the forecasts / plans, fall forward analysis and what if scenarios.
  • Support also Client Groups if required.

  • Ensure that global F&P stakeholders receive the appropriate information to manage their areas of responsibility.
  • Support global leadership as required, in particular with regard to Forecasts and Plan, including preparation for Senior executive leadership meetings.
  • Execute with speed, agility, high standards and reliability.

  • Analyze global pipeline of opportunities, backlog, future EAC changes, sales and revenue yield; identify potential upsides and risk factors impacting future financial performance;
  • provide insights on trends and seasonality, and various key performance indicators and health metrics so as to improve reliability of the forecasts and advise for driving optimized business outcomes.

  • Establish self as trusted source of business analytics with key stakeholders or key contributors
  • Lead the operations of one specialist and one associate manager of the Global F&P team, in particular with regard to the preparation of global deliverables.
  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Education : Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Professional Skill Requirements :

  • Expertise in financial modeling and predictive analysis; ability to drive key business insights from complex data
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the economics that drive our business with working knowledge of Accenture’s operating and economic models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams as a coach / supervisor
  • Executive presentation skills with effective communication and business advisory skills
  • Proactive attitude and self-motivated; takes ownership of tasks and work efforts
  • Ability to be flexible and work independently and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to proactively identify areas for analysis or requiring attention; ability to interpret and synthesize recommendations from the analysis escalating and / or involving all parties required to achieve resolution.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of management information is required with limited supervision necessary

  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with ability to work virtually and within virtual teams an essential requirement;
  • confident dealing with finance and non-finance executives alike

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of IFS, SAP BR, MMB, CBP, MMS, Accenture Economic and Operating Model, and Global standardized reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills. Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Power Point
  • Fluent English
  • Travel and Overtime Requirements :

  • Some overtime should be expected during critical peak periods
  • Ability to be flexible in a remote environment; may be required to attend conference calls out of normal working hours
  • Minimal travel may be required
