Primary Responsibilities :
Receive / make phone calls to customers using relevant systems to request payment for services
Review account information in order to educate external customers regarding outstanding accounts / balances
Evaluate account information (e.g., number of invoices; date past due; previous payment history; type of product; different contact;
billing addresses) to determine payment issues and possible root causes
Provide suggestions and potential solutions to internal stakeholders and / or external customers to resolve disputes
Gather / seek additional information from applicable systems to further investigate accounts
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION

Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1 + years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets and presentations)
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
Ability to work 40 hours / week during standard business operating hours Monday Friday with availability from 8am 6 : 30pm AST (Upon business needs you will be required to work overtime and holidays)
Bilingual English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in healthcare
Experience in account receivable research in healthcare setting
Healthcare billing or collection experience
ICD-10 / CPT Knowledge
