Oracle Applications Technical Analyst
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : This position will be responsible for carrying out Production support for the Global Oracle ERP Instance for Emerson Process Management.
1. MAIN LOCAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Participate in all mandatory training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and / or Corporate Policies, and may also be the mentor / guide of these issues if it is required.
2. MAIN REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Analysis, troubleshooting, resolution and communication of issues reported by user’s community and / or other team members.
Implementation experience and detailed understanding of Oracle Workflow in Release R12 including but not limited to, Oracle Application Development, PL / SQL, Sysadmin, Workflow, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Java, OOP and MQ Series.
Educate business users.
Provide guidance in data preparation and migration.
Provide support for configuration and application of multiple functional modules.
Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.
Work with My Oracle Support Technical Support on SR resolution.
Develop training material and application documentation as required.
At least 2 years of technical experience in Oracle configurations / setups for R12 eBusiness Suite, such as functional module setups, profile options, flex-
fields, functional module interfaces.
Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end users and management.
Experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications
Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle.
Proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work occasional weekends and long hours during month-end or year-end to support the business users.
This role requires expert skills in analysis, issue resolution, troubleshooting and communication.
