Your key responsibilities
The selected candidate will :
Support and / or lead high-level discovery of merger / acquisition target companies globally. Document current state and develop a high-level integration view and cost estimate for proper decision-making by the business.
This includes headcount, technology, identification of possible data security concerns, potential new CT products and non-standard requirements.)
Provide technical guidance and expertise to the Transaction Management team, and consultation on critical dependencies with other EY support functions (such as Talent, Risk, Independence, Data Protection, and Procurement).
Maintain stakeholder relationships related to due diligence, acquisition pipeline, and asset / digital acquisitions. Build relationships of trust with EY Partners sponsoring the deal, as well as the target company’s CEO, COO and CIO.
Work closely with the CT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Leader on deep-tech assessments of target company technology to ensure proper diligence and recommendations.
Work with Acquisitions Management Office (AMO) Lead and Enterprise Technology Acquisitions Delivery Office (ADO) to support activities related to the transition of people and technology.
This includes provisioning of accounts, needed data migration, impact to the EY Service Desk, identifying non-standard, documenting as is and to be facilities design and hosting.)
Work with cross functional teams in support of the EYT Acquisitions Management framework to ensure successful Day 1 readiness and take accountability for proper transitioning of work.
Endorse the use of Blueprint Methodology and its proper application in Acquisitions projects.
Support the facilitation and development of Acquisitions-related materials (such as, Discovery enablers, Acquisitions PM monthly forum and newsletter).
This role supports projects that can be based anywhere in the world, requiring flexibility to attend meetings outside of normal working hours.
Work on highly confidential projects, demanding discretion on the sensitivity of information and data being shared. (This role can require assertion to a project non-disclosure agreement.)

Proven delivery experience in global and complex IT projects

Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations / people under pressure

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, or other Technical qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate IT environment
Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
Experience of working in large programs of work and within multi-location teams
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent English language (written and verbal) skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working with AMO and ADO
PRINCE 2 / Project Management Professional (PMP) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and / or SAFe-certified
