Responsible for performing system engineering and field services for automation process control projects based on programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers, operator / field device, instrumentation, etc.
Works on project assignments that are dependent upon the Job Level (moderate to complex projects). Designs low to moderate complexity architectures, and / or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems.
This includes system design, system engineering, hardware engineering, programming, factory and site testing. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.
Develops and recommends corrective actions.
Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline.
Related control systems application experience as follows.
5 to 10 years of related experience or more.
Leaded and participated in large and complex projects on the O&G Industry.
RA Products experience (Logix, Plant PAX, Drives, Software, Industrial components).
Experience in migrations from legacy or 3rd party to RA Platforms.
MS Office tools, AutoCAD.
Site installation and commissioning leading experience, including mounting and electrical subcontractors supervision.
Fluent English language communication oral and written.
Industry specific knowledge and experience.
O&G projects expertise, including Upstream, Midstream and Downstream.
Distributed Control Systems experience.
SCADA systems and industrial communications protocols experience.
Experience of control system applications throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation and subsequent client support.
Desired (nice to have)
Oil & Gas Wells process and production experience.
Process Safety experience (SIS, ESD, F&G, BMS)
Analytics / IIOT / MPC experience.
TUV or ISA Certification on Process Safety (Strong differentiator).
ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
Readiness to travel 40% of the time estimated within the Patagonia region.
Readiness to work overtime when required. Extra hours are paid.
Based in Neuquén, Argentina or nearby.
Car driving license.
