Position Summary

This position works primarily with our MacroPoint product, which is a global freight visibility platform for shippers, brokers and 3PLs to get real-time visibility on the freight they have given to 3rd party transport companies (carriers).

As a Carrier Onboarding Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for carriers of all sizes, helping them integrate their dispatching systems and telematics devices to the MacroPoint product to support their customers real-time visibility of freight transportation.

We are looking for people to join our team that can provide excellent customer service, deliver a high degree of data accuracy and are able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high degree of customer service and maintain good relationships with carriers.
  • Take ownership of queries from multiple customers and carriers.
  • Check accuracy of data received from customers and carriers, liaising with them to correct errors in the data.
  • Accurate entry of customer data.
  • Enter and maintain accurate status records in the relevant systems.
  • Provide carriers with options for connecting to the MacroPoint product and resolve any queries.
  • Guide carriers through problems through to resolution, following processes and existing documentation.
  • Inform carriers of new features and benefits available within the product.
  • Review integration methods available to carriers (API, Flat File or Telematics).
  • Coach carriers on best practices for integration based on their available technology.
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, previous experience within a customer focused role is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to enter data accurately.
  • Ability to multi-task and take ownership of problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise own work.
  • Experience of working within the transportation industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
