This position will be based in our Buenos Aires office and will join the Corporate Finance team reporting directly to the regional LatAm & Canada Finance Director.

Controllers provide value through their jurisdictional expertise and knowledge of the regulatory environment of the countries in which we operate.
Set regional procedures and controls to enable consistency and risk management, own the governance frameworks, filings oversight and health of processes that span across statutory compliance activities into the Controllership group for all LatAm & Canada jurisdictions;
Scale, automatize and centralize the processes in the region
Partner with regional team and Country Controllers to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and consistency in reporting across our global entities
Ensure our reporting remains compliant and appropriate for local filing purposes whilst being consistent with our global policies
Build robust relationships with key stakeholders and advise partners on developments in accounting and financial reporting, related to policies and the external regulatory environment
Ensure all Alphabet businesses have a solid foundation and appropriate corporate infrastructure on which to operate, this includes the implementation of robust systems and processes
Minimum qualifications :
Professional Accounting Qualification; CPA, CA or equivalent
8 years of working experience in Finance (Accounting and Taxes), compliance, finance operations, etc.
Experience with accounting principles, including US GAAP and related international accounting standard.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications :
A high level of technical competency is expected in this position as well as familiarity with accounting and tax requirements in multiple jurisdictions
Collaborative working style and ability to work with cross-functional and international teams, ability to surface and resolve conflicts diplomatically
Organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
