Purpose of the Role

The Digital Media Specialist will play an important role in our new media performance marketing. This includes digital media platforms operation, multiplatform and digital investment strategies, marketing analytics, and agency management.

Delivering excellent plan stewardship by interacting with creative, digital and other marketing team members is a key component of this position.

Performance Marketing will work directly with media vendors and in conjunction with agencies, research, and internal marketing teams, to ensure business growth and financial benefit for WarnerMedia.

The specialist must possess flexibility, be willing to assume challenges and increased responsibility, be resourceful and a problem solver, as well as keeping an eye out for ways to improve workflows / increase efficiency, etc.

They must have a strong desire to grow within the job, and learn more about WarnerMedia key initiatives and businesses.

Major Activities

  • Ensure excellence in the execution of digital media planning and execution for Latam and that is in line with the corporate strategy, guaranteeing excellent and measurable results.
  • Coordination and implementation of campaigns on media platforms and vendors.
  • Ensure flawless operational execution by delivering on WM KPIs.
  • Guarantee the best use of WM digital platforms (owned media)
  • Manage key operational tasks to enable activation, oversee timelines, coordinate budget process with the agency, and handle daily or weekly requests, generating success cases and working on optimization.
  • Ask for proposals / participate at meetings with vendors / analyse vendor proposals / Campaign
  • Optimization / Investigate the weekly performance, to understand trends and identify successes and opportunities
  • Budget control and management, collaborating with the team controller.
  • Forecast future media spends
  • Work with planning teams to meet budget requirements
  • Cooperate with business units, leveraging strategic vision to inform, consult, and recommend innovative solutions to unrivalled challenges.
  • Directly interact with areas and be able to answer questions about campaign performance, analysis, and strategy.
  • Evaluation of media reports and preparation of campaign performance optimization plans, consolidation of learning and insights, and recommendations for tests, segmentations, channels, media opportunities and innovations
  • Interact with the different areas to guarantee the execution of the planned and identify the opportunities in the WarnerMedia ecosystems, ensuring the generation of synergy.
  • Share best practices / support other areas media decision / Prepare client facing deliverables and reports around pacing, optimization, and testing analyses.
  • Compile updates on partner capabilities and stay abreast competitive insights and industry trends.
  • Bring innovative ideas to campaign strategies / Stay up to date with media trends, potential new channels, and strategies to continue pushing WM as a high-performing company
  • Essential

  • Broad knowledge and experience in in campaign management and set up display media channels, with a track record in programmatic buying, DSP partners, behavioral / audience targeting, and paid social for performance goals Experience in manage multiple projects at a fast pace and high volume.
  • Experience in evaluating market trends, creating test & learn strategies and fluency with measurement metrics and analytics for return on investment targets.
  • Ability to organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent project managerial skills
  • Ability to convey and connect both technical concepts and business context
  • 5+ yrs digital media planning and strategy experience, agency experience a plus
  • Degree or equivalent experience in BS / BA in related field preferred in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business / Digital media planning experience.
  • Strong work ethic & professionalism.
  • Ability to organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent project managerial skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English advanced / fluent. You will participate every day in meetings with teams around the globe.
  • Desirable

  • Experience in Consumer of entertainment content and interest in it.
  • Ability to Self-motivated; highly capable of completing tasks and responding to department requests independently. Fluent in with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment; able to multi-task effectively and meet all established deadlines.
  • Fluent in Portuguese
