Accountable for monitoringand maintaining the delivery of services by SFM suppliers at a site levelaccording to agreed standards.

To manage the activities andservices provided to the site(s) by internal SFM employees.

To implement the facilitiesstrategy working with Area and / or Regional Lead and SFM supplier that createsan environment where Syngenta employees can contribute to their highestpotential, delivering innovative contributions to the business in safe, efficientand most effective way.

Work with SFM suppliers in abusiness partner relationship to continuously identify improvements to theservice provided and areas where savings are made without reducing servicequality.


  • Manage the SFM contract at asite(s) level and oversee all the required services are being delivered tospecification (security, engineering maintenance, cleaning, catering heating,lighting etc.)
  • Liaising with SFM supplierorganization, business partners, key internal stakeholders and externalcontacts to support the smooth delivery of the local operations.
  • Act as thefirst escalation point for any issues.

  • Be responsible for preparingand agreeing the site budgets with SFM Head (s), SFM Finance and SFM supplier, monitorspending and accruals.
  • Review the supplier deliveryagainst the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements(SLAs) for the site with the SFM supplier and Area and / or Regional Lead.
  • Gather and collate site dataon the KPIs and SLAs and communicate results to the relevant parties.
  • Monitor SFM supplierperformance via the Local SFM supplier contact.
  • Act as the first point ofcontact for Syngenta employees, SFM supplier and external contractors notdelivering services performed by the SFM partners on site.
  • Ensure that all siteactivities meet all internal and external legal, HSE, Letter of Assurance,fiscal and compliance requirements and that all corporate standards areunderstood and implemented appropriately, report any gaps.

    Work closely with relevant subject matterexperts to ensure that service delivery protocols for sites and equipment arein line with Syngenta and Legislative Requirements.

  • Establish and maintain fitfor purpose site organisations for efficient delivery of internal SFM services.
  • Accountable for delivering SFMrelated projects in time, cost and quality within the sites.
  • Support the delivery ofCapital, Maintenance and Operational projects performed on the site(s) in scopewhere applicable.
  • Act as a member of the SiteLeadership team where relevant. Take responsibility for site morale andcommunications where required.
  • Assume Legal Accountabilityfor local operations on site(s) where relevant.
  • Assume Legal responsibilityfor SFM site operations, where relevant, and ensure that Legal and Complianceaccountability (e.
  • g. ISO, SOX, LoA) is clear across the sites in scope.

  • Drive operational excellenceand productivity improvement in the local site management in conjunction withFunctional Business Partners and SFM supplier.
  • Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and anyadditional language necessary to effectively manage in the territory. Otherlanguages are beneficial.
  • Comprehensive workingknowledge of the contracts management in relation to the provision of servicesto the site, including the related service level agreements and key performanceindicators
  • Good knowledge of Health& Safety requirements and how they can best be implemented
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of working in SiteServices function
  • Experience of managing 3rdparty suppliers, including contract management and the operation of SLAs andKPIs
  • Experience of managing andsetting budgets
  • Excellent communicationskills, with both internal customers and external suppliers
  • Excellent leadership skillswith an ability to manage a team and stakeholders
  • Able to plan and organize work to meet deadlineswhilst maintaining some flexibility to manage changing demands.
