The Technical Sales Engineer understands the customer needs and develops customer relationship and continuously expand business by selling value and solutions including technical, commercial and legal aspects.
The core deliverables of the Technical Sales Engineer, are as follows (but not limited to the list below) :
Accomplish sales targets within assigned territory, business line and time frame as defined by the manager.
Support re-current Sales and Strategy Plan
Identify potential clients and projects.
Identify new business opportunities in own field of expertise, when working at customer site, and outside own field of expertise, but in line with agreed business plans.
Present identified opportunities effectively and convincingly to the customer.
Know the customers organization : the decision-makers and the influencers.
Obtain market information.
Visit customers regularly following ROSEN guidelines and propose new products.
Plan and advertise exhibitions and promotional activities with Regional Marketing.
Identify, analyse, counteract and secure tailored inquires factoring competitions and ROSEN.
Recommendations for pre-qualification and tendering
Order intake forecast and report to the Business Line Head.
Maintain current and develop new relationships and follow up with clients.
Maintain and enhance clients loyalty and partnership.
Address issues and solve problems to maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
Close deals and provide after sales services.
Review contract related non-conformities, and contractual terms and conditions.
Develop mutual understanding of risk versus value ot the technical proposal with the customer.
Communicating, networking and influencing colleagues within own and related disciplines and projects teams.
Adhering to quality principles and procedures, and giving routine advice on quality matters.
Apply Project handover processes together with the Project Management Team.
Keep updated client’s information within in CRM on daily basis. Define strategies based in this information.
Professional graduated in Engineering.
At least 5 years of successful experience in Sales and Negotiations developed within the Oil and Gas sector.
At least 5 years of successful experience in Oil and Gas engineering projects execution.
Relevant Oil and Gas market knowledge developed preferably within the asset integrity management area.
International working experience is a plus.
Availability to travel.
Technical, Commercial, Customer Orientation, Negotiation and Persuasion skills.
Work team oriented, social and leadership skills compatible with the company’s core values.
English level B2 as defined by the CEFR standards
