The Sales Order Specialist (SOS) will work as part of the Order Services team to support the Sales organization with preparing and validating license & support documentation and ensure they are compliant for booking.
The SOS will serve as a single point of contact for field sales and is expected to operate independently and provide support to other team members when needed.
Responsibilities includes inventory analysis, quote and contract preparation for sales to present to customers. Other responsibilities include analyzing contractual documents and assisting internal teams or external customers in resolving issues and / or errors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES : Working under close supervision, performs routine tasks with specific instructions. Learns business processes and practices and applies concepts to work.
Little independent judgement is required as work generally follows standard procedures. Emphasis is on learning the key aspects of the job to be performed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent course training with no professional experience required.WORK SCHEDULES : Required overtime work for month end and quarterly end periods that will include weekends and nights.
