As a member of our data management team the clinical data programmer will support clinical trial activities from a programming and configuration perspective.

In this capacity, the Clinical Data Programmer will set up and implement the system to collect and store patient data for clinical trials.

This role will collaborate, working side by side with people of all backgrounds and disciplines within health industry, and will work with a team-oriented and dedicated group who will welcome your innovative ideas while motivating and challenging you along the way.

Coordinates and participates in the following activities :

60% Responsible for the clinical database design activities which includes program and test data collection systems and associated data repository mappings using data standards library components, ensuring data collection systems and data warehouse mappings are delivered accurately, efficiently and in alignment with project objectives

15% Under proper change management, responsible for change requests and incidence correction into clinical database. Ongoing support in a dynamic and matrix organization.

25% Participate in extra activities including, but not limited to, automations, initiatives, testing of new systems, and ongoing training and mentoring.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent educational exposure to software design, procedure language, development theory and techniques, testing methodologies, and software documentation.
  • Understanding of relational database structure
  • Experience with Oracle databases or SQL.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with different functional areas.
  • Desire and ability to learn new processes and technologies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excellent written and oral communication skills are required
  • Advanced English level
  • Ability to setup and host team meetings, summarize meeting discussions and initiate cross-functional team discussions when required
  • Motivated to work in clinical research environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Efficient and proactive debugger
  • Knowledge of software development and programming languages.
