The Role

We are looking for a person to join our LATAM Tech Customer Support team.

He / She would be Third-level (advanced) support for broadcast equipment such as DWDM, SDH, Newbridge (ATM, Frame Relay) It will also perform client troubleshooting, network analysis and diagnostics tasks

The Main Responsibilities

  • Analysis of customer failures in advanced or third level.
  • Troubleshooting of SDH / DWDM Systems
  • Direct contact with the suppliers of the equipment in the event of failures that warrant it.
  • Documentation and updating of customer services. Via Dokuviz or with schematic diagrams.
  • Attention to the areas of Assurance, OSE, NOC, Delivery, etc.
  • Documentation of cases using the Opsconsole tool.
  • Diagnose failures and provide support regarding equipment configuration and performance.
  • Willingness to instruct groups in the use of technology.
  • What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Knowledge of DWDM, SDH, IP / Layer # 2 networks.
  • Handling of BERT, RFC, Y1564 type measurement instruments
  • Management of Instrumental OSA (Optical Spectrum Analyzer)
  • Desirable minimum experience of 3 years developed in telecommunications
  • Be professionals in Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Knowledge in automation of processes and equipment (Preferable)
  • Be in a position to attend the assigned schedules, with passive availability schedules.
  • Advanced English
