Danone, the leading global company indelivering sustainable, healthy nutrition products, is recruiting a Service Line Manager Applications for the Americas.

As part of the global IT Competency Center team, the candidate will manage the Applications team in the Americas region supporting over 250 sites in North and South America out of over 800 globally.

Steering the team, peers and providers, the role is responsible for delivery and operations of high performance, high availably networking solutions

The objectives of the Service Line Manager Applications are :

  • Assure monitoring, architecture, planning and installing Danone Standards for Database, Middleware, and IT4IT services.
  • Collaborate onDanIS Standards, in order to deliver reliable and sustainable ITCC Services to ISHUB’s in scope
  • Perform proactive maintenance and improvements, aligned with DanIS and ITCC strategy
  • Participate or lead infrastructure projects from his / her area of responsibilities or within transversal teams projects within ITCC or DanIS
  • Playing a key role for proposing and supporting new database, middleware, and application technologies and services within the scope his / her responsibilities
  • Manage capital and operational budgets pertaining to stream
  • Develop team of 8 headcount
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • The main responsabilities are :

  • Assure that infrastructure in scope is documented, updated and shared with within the internal ITCC organization and with ITCC customers, including GTI
  • Ensure resolution of all Incidents and Request for Changes related responsible job objectives according to the agreed organization SLA
  • Responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of periodical maintenance tasks
  • Assure that all projects lead by team are following the internal project management methodology. In case that he / she is part of a project team will act on the best communication capabilities and transparency with the project team and customer
  • Responsible to apply and to assure that Group Standards are implemented. Make proposals for Group Standards improvements.
  • The requirements are : skills Excellent communication skills with the internal people of Danone but also with external suppliers Excellent technical knowledge and experience in databases, Windows technologies, SaaS administration, MiddlewareIBM MQ and Informatica and Microsoft Azure service offerings Attitude High customer-

    oriented attitude. Thinking Creative thinking and innovation in proposing ideas and leading ideas implementations. Willingness to question status quo and taking ambitious challenges.

    Independence and responsibility in action. Required proficiency in English, knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese helpful.
