The TechnologyResiliency Management team is responsible for ensuring that CIB demonstrates,and improves, the resiliency of its applications.
Our team interacts with ourpartners in Application Development, Corporate and Global Infrastructure teams.The CIB business relies heavily on having stable and resilient applications tobe able to provide clients and governments with a first class service, all thetime.
Our teamunderstands regulatory requirements, drives company policy and engages withsupport teams to ensure that the 1000+ applications design, build, test and, inan incident, execute recovery plans efficiently and effectively.
Who are wehiring?
The ideal candidate will possess a combination ofstrategic, analytical, system administration and Infrastructure skills with afocus on process improvement expertise along with exceptional client andrelationship management skills.
Experience in an end to end technologyenvironment, including experience with software, hardware and otherinfrastructure components is desired.
Basedon the scope of MEPC events, assess applications and technology platforms toidentify :
DR / SR / HAautomation status across all application tiers
Risksthat can disrupt and impact business
Potentialimprovements in the resiliency capabilities
Build / Maintainautomated dashboards and reports that will be distributed to Senior Managementfor visibility as per the above.
Reviewingand advising on various tools / frameworks available for automation
Partneringwith the CIB and GTI groups to define requirements, develop solutions and driverollout / adoption
Pilotnew tools / frameworks and perform feasibility study through proof of concept andalso help senior management to take decision on strategic tool / framework
Contributein developing useful code snippets and frameworks to reduce the adoption time.

Assess,Review and ensure test plans are documented and comply with the guidelines andpolicies
Providesupport and coordination for planned and unplanned events
Liaisewith Application Owners, Production Owners, Global Resiliency and otherstakeholders to assist with Controls Audit.
Understanding of Application Resiliency - Sustained Resiliency,disaster recovery and high availability.
Understanding of Public / Private Cloud computing and associatedservices such as containers.
Ability to assimilate, synthesize and organize information / data and provide actionable intelligence to drive programs forward.
Is capable ofdeveloping / interpreting KPIs and Metrics, to proactively act upon by takingcorrective actions. E.g. : detects lack of Compliance, deviations to StandardKPIs, incomplete or missing information;
assumes that Data Quality and DataIntegrity is vital for proper decision making in the event of a disaster
Is capable of developing dashboards using Business Intelligencetools such as Qlikview, Tableau or Power BI.
Abilityto engage development teams to influence and develop automation
Abilityto work with applications to increase the automation adoption and progressthrough the automation maturity curve
Understandingof Resiliency and the associated risks and issues and will be responsible forworking closely with other technologists across the globe
Excellentcommunication skills and will be at home explaining the progress and challengesin execution of resilient architectures.
Proactiveapproach, engaging expertise to structure conversations, positions andrecommendations
Maintain client relationship and has capability to driveremediation strategies.
Broad understanding of the business and regulatory requirements
Understanding of firm-wide policies and standards
Conversant with current technology landscape across CIB
7 to 10 yearsof IT experience and related management experience (with or without directreports in charge).
Technologyacumen : Demonstrates experience in Disaster Recovery, ideally coordinating DRdrills or having participated in any of its phases : design, execution,validation / testing;
is familiar with diverse Failover / Failback strategies; pastexperience in Technological roles (e.g. : 3 to 5 years as platformadministrator)
Businessacumen : The individual developed his career in large to very-large regional orworldwide companies, in a multi-cultural environment.
Banking / FinancialIndustry background is a plus.
Net, VBScript, SQL and Ansible etc.)
Hands on experience in API and webservice development
Hands on with ContinuousIntegration and Continues Delivery automation tools / frameworks (e.g. Cucumber,Selenium Grid, Junit, Jenkins and JIRA, etc.)
Solid DataCenter services knowledge, needs the ability to interact with a wide variety ofsupporting groups, ranging from Server Admins, DBAs, Storage, Networking,Middleware Web & App.
Servers, among others distributed technologies; 3rd.Party vendors / suppliers management is a plus
Experience inProduction Support / Applications Support, working with complex Platforms andApplications architectures - mission-critical / highly available Applications
Fullyunderstands the relationship between the Business and the Technology as a whole- has the ability to map concepts such as application feeds, batches,upstream / downstream data flows, and its interlock between diverse applicationsand architectures (e.
g. : Legacy, Web, Cloud)
Demonstratesexpertise in dealing with different stakeholders, from technical savvyindividuals, to Senior Mgmt., accommodating the speech or language based on theaudience
Infrastructureskills : Complete understanding of ITIL, in special Change Management, DatacenterOperations and Disaster Recovery - manages the role jargon and concepts, suchas RTO, RTC, HA, DR, Failover, etc.
Applicationsskills : understands the work dynamic between Development and Production Supportteams for maintaining 24 x 7 a business purely sustained by technology -experience or exposure to a DevOps environment is a plus
Understands thevarious technological roles behind a Business Platforms : Developers, Operators,Support, Product Owners, App.
Owners; interacts with them in a daily basis in acollaborative fashion
Fast-learner, proactively defines his / her trainingneeds, while he / she applies knowledge on the go; has Innovation in mind toimprove Processes & Procedure improving the time to delivery by seeking,researching an leveraging the Company assets (Software, Tools, Knowledge)
Additional Qualifications :
Microsoft Office package power-user skills in Excel,Word, PowerPoint, Project - SharePoint is a plus
