The position : Responsible for driving and realizing the vision, strategy and the MAPA Plan for the affiliate by implementing key projects within his area of expertise within the GLP-1 portfolio.
Plays a key role in executing affiliate pricing and contracting business cases for GLP-1 products considering local Market Access opportunities and Affiliate strategy, also elaborates and translates Commercial, pricing and contracting strategies into specific projects and tactics by driving its execution whilst also supporting the development of Pricing & Contracting capabilities in the affiliate.
Main responsibilities : Develop and monitor intelligence on the market access landscape in the affiliate with respect to NN and competition access, healthcare system changes, HTA developments and general trends in the field.
Implement and execute strategic Market Access frameworks such as payer engagement, negotiation, and objection handler in close collaboration with Affiliate Health Economy and value proposition manager and LATAM / IO.
Prepare and support Market Access Manager in the preparation and execution of business cases that are in line with global / regional / local and IO pricing strategies and policies (SOP) on a timely manner.
Reflect clear understanding of business impact and general Market Access implications by close cross functional collaboration with key functions (Finance, Legal and Compliance, GLP-1 Business Unit, Medical Affairs) to create solid business and / or pricing cases.
Identify and initiate potential contracting opportunities and coordinate the development of the contracting case in close collaboration with the Field Market Access team (KAM & KAM Manager), Market Access Manager, the Market Access manager and LATAM & IO.
Qualifications : University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Science or correlated area. 4+ years of experience in the pharma industry or health related organizations.
Knowledge gained by commercial, business or medical position previous experience and ability to work within a cross functional team.
Practical knowledge in commercial business initiatives development, implementation and commercial skills. Experience in building relationships / networks with health care stakeholders (Payers, insurers, policy makers, etc.
