The Functional Analyst participates in IT projects related to transformational changes and continuous improvements of the financial process (General accounting, Accounts receivables, Accounts payables, Treasury and bank accounting), providing solutions to business requirements.
As part of its role, the job requires close contact with the Financial area for all business units, working in partnership in order to continuously improve the processes and operations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
Solution Design and Development
Understand business requirements in close cooperation with the Business Partners
Conduct meetings and workshops to detail business requirements, building up Functional Specification
Define solutions to address the business requirements
Work in close cooperation with the Solutions vendor to guarantee the defined solutions are fully aligned with the business requirements
Coordinate end to end testing to be performed by the business
Generate and maintain documentation
Level 1 Business Support
Logs, tracks, resolves, and closes service requests to the customer’s satisfaction.
Provides additional SAP support for troubleshooting issues, handling user inquiries, and answering how-to questions
Provide updates and status information on the progress of work, escalating as appropriate
Ensure service level agreements are reached
Work with Level 2 Support team to resolve complex issues until the problem is fixed.
Manage Service Now, create reports, dashboard follow incidents.
Manage IT projects assuring the project is delivered on time with the required quality and cost
Communicate project status to stakeholders
Lead IT consultants and analysts for system implementation and process optimization projects
Manage and follow projects through Jira.
Manage Jira, create reports, dashboard.
Manage Confluence, create reports, dashboard.
Professional experience and knowledge
5 years direct work experience in Information Technology, specifically with SAP S4 HANA or SAP AFS
