We invite you to explore The Ritz-Carlton. POSITION SUMMARY Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies in order to maintain necessary supply levels.

Clean and organize items stored in laundry room, supply / storage closets, linen room, and / or uniform room. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.

g., to identify defects). Inspect uniforms for damage and remove substandard uniforms from circulation and issue replacements.

Send damaged uniforms to appropriate location (e.g., seamstress, Housekeeping, outside vendor) for repair. Inform guests and employees when dry cleaning will be ready for pick-up or delivery.

  • Deliver clean laundry and dry cleaning to guests and employees. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees;
  • serve as a role model. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;
  • complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards;
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

  • Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others;
  • support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

    Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
