The ESPM function designs and engineers end-to-end, fit for purpose technology solutions enabling EY’s new digital employee experience.
ESPM organizations supports overall enterprise portfolio strategy and oversees budgeting. ESPM also develops modern delivery methods of enterprise platform solutions supporting EY.
Additionally, ESPM provides Technical Leadership, designing and innovating novel workplace solutions. The function works with the Business Office, Enterprise Technology, Client Technology, and Information Security.
EY is seeking a Global Leader with a proven track record to Lead the Application Performance Management (APM) function in the ESPM Organization.
The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical acumen and the ability to understand how transaction and business logic flows through an application, and how it relates to APM solving performance issues.
Strong understanding of Business Process Management is required for this position.
Your key responsibilities :
Responsible for leading the design & build of the Application Platform Monitoring tools, which provide reactive and proactive alerting as well as rich management capabilities
Designing and building new services using Application Platform Monitoring tools, road map planning and enhancement of existing tools
Conduct regular analysis of technology and market trends to determine their potential impact on offerings and ensure service is fit for purpose
Provide the strategy and vision to the Application Platform Monitoring teams on multiple complex engineering projects aligned to Application Platform Monitoring processes and their technologies
Ability to proactively identify risks and drive mitigation
Develop an in depth and continuous understanding of EY’s businesses and the way the Application Platform Monitoring team adds to the effectiveness of our customers
Manifests a high degree of analytical and problem solving abilities to direct the escalation and to appropriately negotiate complex and conflicting engineering issues, handle multiple and shifting priorities across a broad spectrum of domains and direct the team toward solutions that are both financially sound and operationally feasible
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem -solving capabilities
Manage development team to customize offerings based on requirements, including resource and budget management
Capability to define the overall business case for a large technology shift including new offerings and sunsetting of Products

To qualify for the role, you must have
Demonstrates an expert-level ability and / or a proven record of success managing successful enterprise scale implementations of IT infrastructure and proactive monitoring tools
Strong people leadership, both in managing a hierarchical organization as well as extraordinary partnering skills in influencing and negotiating across organizations.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and manage interdependencies between external and internal Service Providers to manage all vendor related tasks like researching, pricing, contracting, etc.

Develops strong relationships with diverse stakeholders by anticipating needs, collaborating across teams, fostering commitment, and asking for feedback.
Cultivates internal and external networks and leverages them to connect stakeholders with subject-matter specialists. Finds the right cadence with stakeholders to become a trusted business advisor

Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior executive leadership role leading complex organizations in a professional services or consulting industry
A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 20+ years of experience working in IT industry and leading a global team of senior resources across the geographies with excellent business acumen
Advanced comprehensive knowledge of Application Platform Monitoring
Above average knowledge of the following but not limited to : Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) and ServiceNow as tools for management of large environments and ITIL concepts including Incident, Problem and Change Management Experience in IT auditing procedures and mandates with a focus on tools monitoring Strong Knowledge of Change Management best practices Strong knowledge of capacity planning and how it can be used in Systems and Tools Management environment Platform Monitoring (SharePoint, SQL, Big Data) tools Strong Knowledge of AppDynamics App Insights BPM
Mind-set of product / service delivery and drive continual innovation and improvements
Executive presence and strong communications, facilitation, and presentation skills
Strong delivery skills (e.g., ability to scope / size a project, staff a team with the appropriate skill set, provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team, manage the delivery of an engagement workstream)
Certification Requirements :
ITIL V3 Expert or ITIL 4 Managing Professional
