This role willhave responsibilities related to actuarial organization projects implementation and valuation reporting and calculations, including oversight and support to countries as well as consolidation, documentation and reporting of Embedded Value and all core valuation reporting.
Implementation of robust valuation processes is a critical project for the Financial Management Group.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute assigned activities of actuarial projects in the region, support projects plans follow up and status updates reports.
Work with country teams, COE and consultants to build, adapt and validate valuation models and review assumptions.
Propose and implement controls for the valuation processes and calculations on an on-going basis
Propose and implement regional analysis and validations to improve consistency and compare valuation results of the region
Keep and follow up reporting activities calendar for the region
Review, consolidate and discuss valuation reporting deliverables from allocated countries
Business Knowledge / Technical Skills :
Actuarial graduate, with 4 to 6 years of actuarial experience. Will also consider Math, Finance, Accounting or equivalent field.
Experience in the insurance or pension products in Latin America
Knowledge of embedded value calculations and principles
Familiarity with Stat and US GAAP or IFRS accounting systems, and ability to read and understand financial statements
Modelling experience, including knowledge of at least one actuarial software
Experience in reconciliations, attributions and roll forward analysis
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly in Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
Strong analytical skills, with ability to explain results clearly and concisely
Experience in projects coordination
