Andworx is looking for a Master Scheduler with experience in IT Risk Solutions who will work collaboratively with our client to assure the government's risk to success is effectively managed, and that projects and operations support activities are aligned to the Department's Cyber Risk Management Program strategic and tactical goals and objectives.

As a candidate you should be a detail-oriented self-starter who uses their innovative and critical thinking skills to deliver high quality products and deliverables.

As Master Scheduler, you will work closely with the Sr. Project Management Lead to support execution of projects to deliver IT Program Management Support services including risk management, change management, content management, schedule management, and communications with senior management and all stakeholders, both internal and external, project planning and metrics reporting.

Note : Due to COVID-19, this position allows telework, however, 2-days on-site are required or as-needed. On-site location is Washington, D.

C. Overnight travel may be as needed, estimated at 10%. Ability to work non-core hours and or weekends as needed on a situational basis.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project scheduling and management experience, with increasing levels of independent project responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and utilization of entire scope of project management principles and processes for the successful evaluation, integration, and completion of complex projects.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance in the near future : eligibility for this job requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, or management discipline or related field or equivalent work experience directly within functional area preferred.
  • Military electronic specialization schools, or trade school certification will also be considered.

    Primary Responsibilities

    As Master Scheduler, provide Project Management support under guidance from the Sr. Risk PM / Lead to include project planning, scheduling, reporting, performance evaluation, control and technical expertise for IT and Cyber Risk Management related projects.

  • Consult with Sr Risk PM / Lead and technical experts to set up project assignments, tasks, and subtasks as they relate to IT and Cyber Risk Management.
  • Support development of a centralized IT Project Management Office (PMO) function that institutionalizes project management discipline and best practices across the organization and in support of our client's mission.
  • Participate in office level planning and delivery of a full range of IT and Cyber Risk Management support services in support our client.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective project scheduling management system.
  • Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and deadlines and identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of service performance levels and evaluate performance and prepare project progress reports.
  • Recommend actions to keep projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Keep stakeholders (e.g., customer and Sr Risk PM / Lead) informed of project timelines and deadlines.
  • Develop Tracking and Reporting tools and processes to track essential program metrics.
  • Contribute to briefing preparation, including content development.
  • Apply your excellent time management and organizational skills managing the essential functions of the project.
