Program and Change Lead

Programs & Change (P&C) Lead will partner closely with the CHRO and the HR leadership team on both strategic projects as well as tactical execution of the HR agenda.

Additionally, the P&C Lead will act as project / program manager for all HR projects globally as well as work closely with the HR Leadership team, setting agendas for leadership meetings and driving for decisions when appropriate to ensure the HR strategy advances on time and on budget.

The Lead will have the opportunity to work with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization on both operational and HR strategy initiatives.


  • Lead HR projects inclusive of assessing the needs, defining and documenting the solutions, and working with various organizations within HR to roll out projects.
  • Prepare HR presentations for internal and external audiences on behalf of the CHRO
  • Work closely with CHRO on special projects, inclusive of HR strategy formulation and development.
  • Co-manage HR budget in conjunction with CHRO, Finance, & HRBP
  • Manage HR project portfolio on behalf of the HR Leadership Team.
  • Utilize analytic and market research skills to identify internal and external trends that may impact or influence HR strategy.
  • Lead HR Leadership Team meetings inclusive of agenda development, action item follow up and driving for decisions when necessary.
  • Coordinate the HR Strategic Planning Process each year
  • Guide strategic communication within HR partnering with HR Communications.
  • Work on behalf of Chief HR Officer, interacting regularly with HR leadership team, Finance Business Partner, and other stakeholders as well as a variety of senior ZS leaders as the face of HR and on behalf of the CHRO at times.
  • QUALIFICATIONS The candidate for this role must be versatile, multi-functional and have the ability to work on a wide range of projects, varying in size and complexity.

    The lead must possess strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills with experience developing and managing milestone schedules / timelines preferred.

    This role provides privileged access to confidential and highly sensitive information, requiring a candidate who acts with the utmost integrity and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters / MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years experience working in related business function (HR, finance, project management, consulting) with direct HR experience desirable.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, communications and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and at time with limited direction
  • Able to work with highly confidential topics
  • Ability to be independent in making decisions on behalf of CHRO / HRLT
  • Able to consider tradeoffs and risks to ensure projects move forward
  • Must employ sound judgment in escalating and clear communication to keep stakeholders appropriately informed.
