The opportunity
The selected candidate will :
Leads the delivery of testing activities, plans and processes for small to medium-sized products or services, applying strong technical capabilities to ensure alignment to functional / non-functional requirements
Designs, develops and oversees the maintenance of processes and approaches to ensure quality standards of products and services
Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement complex test cases
Your key responsibilities
Leads the delivery of test plans to ensure product quality, setting project timelines and monitoring the activities of other testers
Designs, develops, and supports test cases for functional and non-functional domains, solving escalated issues and resolves issues that may impede the test effort
Leads on the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepares test plans, identifies relevant metrics and keeps track of required effort for small initiatives
Manages the execution of test reports and reviews and interprets recommendations for product or design changes
Defines and reviews internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs
Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components or modifications
Skills and attributes for success
Extensive understanding of testing lifecycle and agile frameworks
Comprehensive, end to end understanding of the IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial)
Expert knowledge of Quality Management techniques
To qualify for the role, you must have
Profound knowledge on SQL and ETL testing
Working knowledge on Power BI reports
Working experience of testing in Database and system integration testing
Knowledge on Azure devops (Requirements and test plan management)
Profound knowledge on Agile process
Profound knowledge on STLC (Software testing lifecycle)
Profound knowledge on defect management and reporting
Test design and test execution skills
Communication and soft skills
Ideally, you’ll also have :
Knowledge on Azure data factory, data lake
Working knowledge on creating data sets and modules
Prior experience of working as a QA lead
Automation testing (Based on requirements)
Experience :
5+ years of experience as a QA and 2+ years of experience as a QA lead (good to have)
3+ years of experience working with SQL and DB
At least 1 year of experience working with Power BI reports (good to have)
