Job Category Operations Job Details The Business Intelligence Engineer will play a key role in the success of our overall data analytics strategy.
You will be responsible for rapidly scaling our analytical capabilities with a focus on developing our machine learning and predictive analytics to deliver critical insights.
You will work on company-wide standards around data consumption and visualization, and establish best practices with our cross functional partners including marketing, product and field organization.
You will collaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts and strategy leads to define the evolution of our analytics platform.
The successful candidate will have a high degree of attention to detail, a relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities and surface new insights.

Position deliverables 30 days + Complete sales onboarding and familiarization with MuleSoft's analytical tools+ Meet key stakeholders and understand their analytics needs and operating rhythms+ Develop a foundational understanding of our dimensional model, and how data is structured in Snowflake+ Develop foundational understanding of ETL and data flows 60 days + Understand the unique features of MuleSoft's business model, data, and KPIs+ Understand Index and Search Engine for MuleSoft Help Center+ Begin implementing process improvements to accelerate the pace of delivery for recurring deliverables 90 days + Partner with lead managers by identifying hotspots in the business and providing deep-dive analyses of performance data+ Work with the data engineering team and different business functions to deliver large-scale analytics solutions+ Support creation of advanced analytics models to drive our operations strategies Responsibilities + Ideate and develop high quality analytics products for the field leadership team+ Work with Services and Support teams to optimize knowledge management and KCS within their respective community portals and case management systems - search optimization, knowledge asset metrics and reporting, enhanced customer experience and case deflection+ Manage a portfolio of tools catering to various functions including Services, Support, and Product Teams.
Python / R scripting experience preferred+ Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques required ( regression, hypothesis testing, classification methods etc.
Experience working with and deriving insights from large data sets+ Solid foundation in schema design and dimensional data modeling preferred (facts, dimensions, star schema etc.
