Participates in requirements gathering with stakeholders leveraging knowledge of application and business process to assess scope and impact on business needs.
Collaborates with senior business analysts, internal customers, project team members, project managers, throughout the project lifecycle.
Gathers information about the organizations work processes and contributes to documenting the business process mapping and recognizes process inefficiencies and recommends improvements.
Essential Functions :
Participates in the analysis and defintion of business requirements.
Participates and contributes in customer meetings with the stakeholder community.
Uses strong analytical reasoning to understand end user’s requirements and transforming them into operational application.
Frequently communicates with internal customers, end-users, and project managers on project progress and issues.
Participates in business & functional requirements documentation using internally developed templates.
Reviews requirements as documented with business.
Assists in maintaining requirements traceability and change control.
Assists with writing text and graphical use cases detailing business and system process flows / data flows.
Works with Project Manager to review requirements, assumptions, issues and risks.
Communicates timely status on work to the Project Manager.
Collaborates with the testing team on test results and reviews requirement gaps and discuss resolutions.
Conducts knowledge transfer to the support teams during the implementation phase.
Supports several small to medium business processes.
Performs special assignments in support of departmental objectives.
Other Responsibilities :
Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Minimal travel may be required (up to 25%).
Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent education and experience. CRO or Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
IIBA CCBA certification is preferred. Moderate business analysis experience. Demonstrated ability to assist in gathering business requirements for projects, problems, and issues.
Ability to be attentive to detail, flexible, open to suggestions, and possess good communication skills.
