  • Engagement with senior management : Engages senior management and business owners on pricing strategy development. Communicates regularly with senior management to review opportunities, threats and potential new strategies.
  • Reviews strategy with executive management to ensure consistency with evolving corporate goals.

  • Deal Desk : Leads price negotiations, pricing approaches and new initiatives with client executive management and their advisors.
  • Ensure governance is upheld

  • Sales ToolsLead development of pricing models used by the business to structure pricing, predict margin and income for existing customers, predominantly for new geo-expansion countries but also for maintenance of existing countries.
  • Develops sales tools and messages to support value capture and pricing position.Leverages internal and external data sources to refresh existing value propositions and create new ones.

    Defines and maintains price lists and other tools for internal use in crafting proposals and other communications.

  • Pricing Strategy and Optimisation : Champions company initiatives to define, communicate and capture FIS value in the sales process.
  • Updates pricing strategies for evolving competitive capabilities and pricing intelligence, business objectives, cost trends, value proposition and client and consultant perspectives.

    Facilitate development of new product pricing and process, in particular local products in each LATAM market such as factoring.

    Ensures product pricing of all products is aligned with overall pricing and business strategy.Conduct profitability, price sensitivity, risk and scenario analysis and identify strategic opportunities for price optimisation, via a team of direct reports and other stakeholdersDirect pricing projects and initiatives to generate incremental revenue for the businessDefines, recommends and implements projects that increase understanding of FIS’s value in the market and our ability to capture it.

    Coordinates efforts to collect and leverage competitive intelligence

  • Network Alliances : Work with local schemes / regulators to improve pricing calculations within the Latin American market.
  • Support the local alliance team to understand revenue share calculations with partners in different countries.Identify revenue & savings opportunities understanding local scheme initiatives / mandates.

  • Stakeholder engagement : Collaborates with senior managers, sales executives, relationship managers and clients to maintain and update sales tools.
  • Managing stakeholders within Finance, Commercial and technical communitiesEstablishing a center of expertise for the prediction and maintenance of customer profitabilityLeverages cross-company network to collect information necessary for pricing and influences cross-functional teams and other diverse groups to create and implement successful strategies.

  • ReportingDesign and specify global pricing reports to provide insightful analysis.Provides metrics on pricing performance and opportunities to executive and senior management.

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


  • Bilingual (fluent) in English and Spanish / Portuguese
  • A sound knowledge of pricing strategy with an emphasis on value based concepts including economic value analysis, role of costs in pricing decisions, segmented pricing approaches, life cycle pricing concepts, best practice negotiation strategies, pricing psychology, price sensitivity factors and measurement techniques, financial analysis including break-even sales calculations and margin analysis and the role of competition
  • Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations

    Career level management role. Manages pricing activities with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.

    Establishes operational objectives and work plans and collaborates with others. Objectives are reviewed by senior management to determine success of operation.

    This role is involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organization objectives, implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

    Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and / or customers.

    Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.

    This level requires the ability to communicate with all levels of management. Typically requires ten years pricing related experience including pricing management, methods and techniques, financial analysis and / or marketing research.
