The BACP Voice Operations is responsiblefor managing the firm's global voice infrastructure, middleware and applicationenvironments.
This portfolio includesenterprise support of CISCO UC infrastructure and Avaya Voice Services to theCorporate, Retail and Contact Center lines of business worldwide.
Operations Staff responsibilities willinclude but not be limited to : support of global follow-the-sun Operationsmodel; support of Systems Hardware, Middleware and Software(Incident, Problemand Change management);
Move Add Change Delete(MACD) functions, Application / APIRelease management execution.
The candidate must have Application Operations experiencesupporting client facing applications or systems; preferably managing Real-
timeapplications using Java, Shell Script, Python, Ansible, SQL and Database Designtechnologies with a focus on telephony and automation.
Thisposition will involve automating the day to day break / fix support, incident andproblem management of voice issues, proactive infrastructure management, Move,Add, Change, Delete (MACD) activities, configuration management, DR activitiesand Site Isolation validations.
Candidate should expect to work global shiftpatterns as needed.
Thisposition is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access(HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screeningwhich includes both criminal and credit background checks, and / or otherenhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basisthereafter.
The enhanced screening will need to be successfullycompleted prior to commencing employment or assignment.
Technical Skills :
Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the following programming languages (Python, Java, Scala etc)
Knowledge of web technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, OpenAM) a plus.
Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD)
Experience in modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud, conterization, orchestration)
Hands on experience with Cisco / Avaya / Genesys Voice technologies and platforms
Proficient with Network / Application monitoring architecture design and implementation
IP Telephony protocols like SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, RTCP, VXML etc
Networking fundamentals MPLS, multicast, QoS, call admission control, latency, content distribution network, firewall traversal
Experience working across large infrastructure environments distributed across multiple data centers
2+ years of Systems Operations experience, focusing primarily on designing and building operational dashboards, metrics, monitors, and alarms.
2+ years of automating operational processes, building or configuring Operational Dashboards for monitoring the performance of distributed systems, supporting production environments on Unix / Linux platforms and Microsoft Windows
2+ years in Hands-On experience in Java Web Development, especially in building monitoring / alarm dashboards
2+ years in Hands-On experience in capacity and performance testing
2+ years of experience working in

Static Analysis Tool : SonarQube
CI / CD Tools : Jenkins or Bamboo
Automation Frameworks / Tools : Selenium, Winium, TestNG, JMeter
Hands-On in Shell Scripts, TCL Expect Script, Windows Powershell

2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment collaboratively with Infrastructure Software development Organization to understand the system and building operational needs.
Other Role requirements :
Required to provide critical network infrastructuresupport and deliver best -in-class service to our clients. This position willinvolve automating day to day incident and problem management of all voiceissues globally.
In addition, proactive infrastructure management, changeownership, DR activities, Site Isolation validations will form part of theday-today activities.
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to cultivate relationships with all internal / external stakeholders, promoting diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures.
SCRUM certified. SCRUM master preferred
Solid Web Application Development skills using Java, Python, SQL and Database Design
Experience with a software development lifecycle and agile development practices, unit and integration testing, source code control, continues integration,
Ability to manage several ongoing deliverables concurrently
Experience in building, documenting, and testing APIs
Able to work rotating shifts for 24 / 7 coverage
Flexibility in working hours as some migrations will require weekend and after hours’ work
Understanding of telephony and telephony development strongly preferred
Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development
