Global Compliance and Reporting is anintegrated suit of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to ourmultinational clients.
GCR offers the ease of managing compliance ®ulatory filings by :
a) Taking care of the complexity ofregulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions
b) Centrally managing the globalcompliance and reporting activities
c) Controlling the cost of managingcompliance across various countries
Each client is referred to as anengagement and the GCR is responsible for implementing the integrated servicedelivery model and subsequent delivery of services as per the service levelagreements.
Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conductedmostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EYprofessionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations.
The GCRprofessional will be with the EY global network to ensure client’s complianceand reporting obligations across the globe are met on time.
Engagement Management aspects :
Work withCoordinators to ensure engagements are managed effectively and efficiently
Understandinternal and external stakeholders requirements and ensure engagement processesmeet requirements
Identifypain areas in the processes and create enablers to overcome process issues
Applyproject management concepts to manage engagement delivery
Monitorand flag engagement and people issues to engagement leadership
Responsiblefor the customer satisfaction scores of the portfolio
People aspects :
Act as the SPOC for the respective clientfacing teams
Developengagement management knowledge of individuals working on your portfolio
Conducttrainings on client and engagement management concepts to wider teams
Networkwith internal and off-shore teams to create and maintain good relationship
Reviewengagement deliverables and coach staff members on best practices
Identifytraining gaps for self and team and work with leadership to bridge gaps
Service ManagementResponsibility :
Proactivemanagement of day-to-day activities including appropriate escalation to respectiveManagers / Sr Managers
Monitoringall knowledge transfer meetings including scheduling and review ofagenda / action items
Positionto be the first point of contact for local country teams and central teams.Support Managers / Sr Managers with issue resolution
Identify theactivities which can be simplified or eliminated by form of RPA.
You will need to have :
Minimum of3 to 4 years of total work experience
Understandingof financial processes of a company
Bachelorsor Master’s degree
Experiencein working in a multi-cultural and team environment
Haveexcellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral inEnglish, Spanish and Portuguese. An added advantage if proficient in otherLATAM or European languages however not a must
Demonstrated team management and coachingcapabilities
Demonstrate strong organizational skills andstructured thinking abilities
Demonstrate strong analytical and projectmanagement skills
Demonstrate an eye for detail
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Expert in Word / PowerPoint / Excel - workingknowledge of MS office
